Celsa Huta Ostrowiec together with the SITPH Circle at Huta Ostrowiec organized the celebration of the Steelworker’s Day on 17/05/2024 in “Bałtowski Zapiecek”.
The first part included the “Technologies of the Future” conference, which was devoted to the results of projects co-financed by the National Center for Research and Development and implemented at the Forged Products Plant and the Rolled Products Plant. During the conference, the implemented technical changes were presented, which allowed for obtaining better parameters of the manufacturing process of ingots, shapes and large-size, difficult-to-deform forgings. The research results from the completed projects were also discussed, along with the current situation of the metallurgy in Poland.
In the second part of the celebrations, the 15th anniversary of the Celsa Huta Ostrowiec Medium Rolling Mill was celebrated, special awards were presented and the traditional oath of young steelworkers was taken. The whole thing ended with the meeting “Pod Kadzią”.
