Winners of the “Laurel of Innovation” competition named after him. Stanislaw Staszic, organized by the Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations NOT (FSNT-NOT) benefit from the The rights to use the title and trademark of the competition in the promotion of the awarded products. This strengthens the credibility and prestige of companies in a competitive market. The elite group of winners of the 11 previous editions was joined by another 15 winners in October. Gold, Silver and Bronze Laurels of Innovation were presented to themat a gala event on October 26 at the NOT Warsaw House of Technicians, which has been in operation for 118 years. Gold Laurels of Innovation were awarded to 5 winners, 6 silver and 4 bronze. The competition awards scientific and business achievements, creativity of entrepreneurs in various sectors of the economy, innovation and interdisciplinary solutions.
Statuettes called “Staszic” are presented for the best ideas, solutions and inventions that have already been successfully implemented and brought tangible benefits to both the economy and their creators, noted Laura Łącz, who has been running the gala , from the very beginning, continuously for 12 years.
– Promoting innovative technologies and products, their creators and helping to implement innovative solutions is the key to civilization development,” Ewa Mańkiewicz-Cudny, president of FSNT-NOT and member of the competition chapter, stressed in her speech. – The statuettes that we present to the winners for the best ideas, solutions and inventions are just a symbol and thanks for their great contribution to all these activities. The work of engineers requires great determination and talent. It takes an extraordinary imagination to come up with such innovative solutions. Gabriel Narutowicz compared engineers to the Creator because they create something that no one else has done before them. Thanking you for this creativity and extremely responsible work, I wish you continued success and congratulate all the awardees.

Tadeusz Pawlowski, awarded honors in 10 categories: Energy and Electrical Engineering; Mining and Metallurgy; Information Technology and Software; Automation; Mechanics, Machinery and Equipment; Medical Technology, Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals; Food, Catering, Agriculture, Horticulture and Woodworking; Military Technology; Textiles, Materials Engineering; Services and Other Socio-Economic Innovation Solutions.
The competition was under the patronage of the National Center for Research and Development, the Central Office of Weights and Measures, the National Center for Research and Development, the Marshal’s Office of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, the Office of Technical Inspection, the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, the Ministry of Infrastructure, as well as the media patronage of a group of magazines.
Guests and participants at the Gala – in addition to the winners and those accompanying them – were presidents, directors or representatives of patrons and partners, high-ranking representatives of the world of science and economy, as well as members of the FSNT-NOT Board of Directors, numerous representatives of scientific and technical associations and journalists from the public media.

Among the winners of the SILVER LAUR OF INNOVATION was the technological company MEDISENSONIC S.A., making its debut in this competition, which received the prestigious award for its microwave device for diagnosing the vitality of the dental pulp.
– This distinction awarded to us by engineers has a special meaning for me, because I myself am a representative of this profession ,” assessed Robert Gromada, president of the company. – At MediSensonic, most of the staff, are engineers. They are outstanding electronic engineers, mechatronic engineers, mechanics with degrees, and people from other specialties. Together we create innovative solutions for non-invasive medical and dental diagnostics.
